Category Buyer (Silao)

Has the primary responsibility to direct and execute the purchase of assigned categories of spend, evaluate market conditions and develop and execute sourcing strategies. Collaborates with business areas to identify sourcing needs and opportunities. Manages supplier relationships and agreements. Conducts continuous improvement initiatives with an emphasis on reducing total cost of ownership.

• Develop and execute the category strategy for non-dairy spend.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance by maintaining supplier scorecards, conducting site visits, day-to-day interactions and regular review meetings.
