Position Overview

Category Buyer Packaging and Devices – Barcelona. Responsible for syringes and needles spend of €95M for the Vaccines Business Unit.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management
  • Ensures implementation and operational follow‑up of action plans derived from category management and business partner strategies.
  • Provides support to the Global Lead Buyer to ensure execution of strategy and sourcing execution.
  • Delivers savings pipeline in line with targets.
  • Leads global RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for the category.
  • Reports on status, savings, performance, and risks for sourcing activities.
  • Investigates current industry trends and new market developments related to the category.
