Job Description
HOUSEKEEPING AIDE – CASUAL / ON CALL
At Extendicare, you will provide housekeeping services in accordance with policies, procedures, and work routines.
Location: Extendicare Mapleview Home, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.
Position: Casual / On Call (Part Time).
What you’ll be doing
- Use specified cleaning/disinfecting/sanitizing agents to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and staff inside and outside the Long‑Term Care facility.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding infection prevention and control, quality assurance, fire, and safety.
- Participate in staff meetings as assigned, attend in‑service education programs, and complete all mandatory education.
What you bring
- Comfortable with heavy lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, moving equipment, climbing ladders, and exposure to biochemical agents and wet floors.
