Casual After School Program Site Lead

REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Community Support and Prevention Services

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Casual After School Program Lead takes responsibility for organizing activities, maintaining safety, and providing a consistently well‑run, high quality program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead an After School Program for school‑age children (ages 4‑12), based on the guidelines provided.
• Plan and organize a safe environment and supervise children to protect their safety and personal well‑being at all times while in the program.
• Work as part of a team.
• Assist and support children to complete homework and other academic activities (in both groups and one‑to‑one).
• Plan physical activity program for up to 60 minutes a day.
• Design and implement art, STEM, nutrition, cooking, anti‑bullying, health information activities, social skills, and other curriculums as required.
