Your expertise in applying adjusting and removing casts and splints along with your ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team will be essential in ensuring optimal recovery and patient comfort. This position contributes significantly to helping patients heal safely maintain mobility and achieve the best possible outcomes following orthopedic procedures or injuries.
Responsibilities
Prepare apply and remove casts splints braces and other orthopedic devices as prescribed by physicians.
Assist orthopedic surgeons and physicians during procedures requiring immobilization.
Instruct patients and families on proper care and maintenance of casts and splints.
