Summary The Carpenter position is part of in the Activations and Operations Team of the Maintenance and Operations Section, Facilities Management. The incumbent receives little or no instructions in the performance of assigned tasks and duties consist of general carpentry, cabinet installations and repairs, laminate installations and repairs, drywall installation and finishing. Responsibilities The Carpenter's duties for the position are but not limited to: Design, fabrication and installation of cabinets, shelves, benches, displays, frames, etc. Incumbent sets door frames, hangs doors, cuts door openings in masonry walls, installs locks and panic hardware, lays floor tile, replaces/installs ceiling tile, mounts and adjusts door closers. Incumbent hangs and finishes drywall.
