Caregiver - Fixed Term

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Summerset Mountain Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our residents’ daily lives. It is a fixed-term role from July 2026 to February 2027, working 60‑80 hours per fortnight on a 4 days on, 2 days off PM roster.

Typical Duties

• Deliver meals and help with mealtimes
• Aid with hygiene, such as showering
• Assist with individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Help with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis, etc.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• A Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 certificate
• A passion for aged care
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
