Our client is recruiting for a Candidate Quantity Surveyor to support senior quantity surveyors and learning the full scope of the profession. 1x Cape Town office and 1x Johannesburg Office. DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION Education BTech Quantity Surveying (from an institution accredited by the relevant professional council (e.g., SACQSP, RICS). Registered with the appropriate body as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor Experience 5 years post-graduation DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain organized project records and cost data. Assist in compiling progress reports, cost reports, and meeting minutes. Prepare logbooks, diaries, or reports required for professional registration (e.g., RICS APC, SACQSP Pr QS logbook). Assist in preparing initial cost estimates and feasibility studies. Help develop cost plans during design stages (elemental cost planning).
