Cancer Services Support Manager (Internal Only)

Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cancer Services Support Manager with a focus on cancer data and workflow to take up a vacant role in Barnstaple within the Cancer and Elective Care Division. The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of data requirements to support the tracking of cancer pathways and will advise on Cancer Waiting Times Guidance and other NHS data and information standards relating to cancer. They will support the improvement of cancer data quality by monitoring against quality targets and identifying areas for improvement. With Cancer Data Team colleagues they will proactively investigate the causes of issues found, propose potential solutions and implement agreed actions to minimise further errors and correct those identified. Solutions may involve: user education or refresh training, user process changes, system changes and additional data validation.
