Job Description
Barista – Downtown Café, ONE YORK
Shifts: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and help determine their coffee interests and needs
- Prepare and sell a wide variety of beverages, following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso, espresso lungo, café latte, and cappuccinos
- Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply and stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies and pastries for coffee bar
- Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served safely
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation policies
- Must be able to work between the hours of 7AM and 3PM from Monday to Friday
