Smith+Nebrew designs and manufactures technology that takes the limits off living. The CAD/CAM Specialist is a technical subject‑matter expert responsible for developing, standardizing, and optimizing multi‑axis CNC machining strategies within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, standardize, and optimize advanced multi‑axis CNC programming strategies using CAD/CAM software while maintaining program integrity through structured file management.
- Lead the development of robust machining processes, including tooling selection, cutting parameters, fixturing concepts, and machining sequences, with a strong emphasis on standardization, capability, and efficiency.
- Ensure alignment between design intent, machining execution, and inspection requirements through GD&T‑driven strategies, and maintain CNC programming governance in compliance with QMS standards.
