As Buyer, you will conduct the purchase of all materials required for manufacturing (tools, machinery, supplies, etc.) as well as raw materials required in the SanAgustin Plant.
Responsibilities
- Contact suppliers for quotation requests, cost comparison, studies, discount negotiation, technical aspects and delivery terms, for goods that are not categorized.
- Prepare and follow up purchase orders.
- Forward updated specifications to suppliers.
- Make raw material purchases according to SAP material requisitions, scheduling supplies to minimize inventories without stopping production.
- Maintain close communication with the SNP planners to be aware of planning changes and notice any raw‑material shortage to avoid production disruptions.
- Keep the SAP system updated with machinery, tools and raw‑material supplier data.
