Job Description
SUMMARY:
A heavy engineering manufacturing concern is seeking a Buyer for their Plant in Pretoria East with minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within a Production / Manufacturing / Engineering Environment. Responsibilities:
Buys supplies and materials - Source, negotiate with suppliers, purchase, track orders and collaborate with Project Teams, Logistics and Finances. Requirements:
Grade 12 and Diploma or Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (Logistics / Purchasing)
Import / Export background is essential
Supply Chain Knowledge
MS Office and SYSPRO or any other appropriate ERP software
Excellent communication skills
Critical thinking and excellent Negotiation skills
Effective time management / work under pressure and meet deadlines
