Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer Direct located in Guadalajara, Campus North. Reporting to the Materials Manager the Buyer Direct role involves coordinating activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment.
Typical Day
- Maintaining relations with suppliers.
- Placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of production.
- Receiving and handling confirmations.
- Checking purchase orders and modifying them according to changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List.
- Tracking shipments, urging them if needed.
- Regular, weekly check of the stocks, avoiding overstock.
- Minimizing the risk of obsolescence with the help of the weekly check of the obsolete report.
