- Inspect, clean, and maintain cutting equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage inventory by storing, labeling, and rotating meat products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience as a butcher or in meat preparation is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques, food safety standards, and equipment operation.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting heavy items and handling sharp tools safely.
