Business Accounting Manager

About the role

Lead financial excellence that helps protect Aotearoa's unique natural and cultural heritage. As Business Accounting Manager, you'll lead a team of trusted finance professionals who provide strategic advice, financial leadership, and commercial insight to operational leaders across the Department. You'll play a key role in ensuring sound financial decision-making, driving continuous improvement, and enabling the successful delivery of conservation outcomes.

Working closely with Operations Directors, managers, the Chief Financial Officer, and Finance Unit colleagues, you'll lead financial planning, budgeting, performance reporting, business case assurance, and strategic initiatives while fostering a high-performing, collaborative team.
