Job Description
Building Envelope Student
Located at Toronto District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, the position is available for 4 months or 8 months starting September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Reviews design documents to identify potential building envelope performance issues
- Participates in the review of project submittals
- Participates in project meetings and first installation reviews
- Completes plant reviews, site reviews and/or deficiency walks
- Attends laboratory and field testing
- Assists with the development of remedial strategies for building envelope issues by meeting with manufacturers, marking up details, and working collaboratively with the team members
- Prepares site review reports
- Contributes to the preparation of internal quality documents
- Promotes and coordinates building envelope events with external experts
