JOB PURPOSE

Accounts Officer is responsible for underwriting Policies within authority limits; Oversees and Manages the accurate and timely issuance and release of policies / endorsements; Contributes in the servicing and Account Management in coordination with Accounts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs underwriting within authority limits and ensures avoidance of bad risks in line with company’s underwriting principles and guidelines.
• Sets Premium Rates / Terms and Conditions for Engineering products and Special Accounts within authority limits as favorable to the Company as possible by utilizing appropriate negotiation techniques/skills.
