With over 3,000 nurses serving six hospitals, our graduate nurse residency program is just one way we support new nurses. We also offer help, such as relocation assistance to make the move a bit easier.
The graduate nurse residency program is provided throughout your first year as a new nurse and acts as a supplement to the unit-based orientation and clinical classes you attend during your orientation to nursing at CoxHealth. The residency in Springfield is accredited with distinction from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the highest honor possible for such a program, and the only accredited residency of its kind in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas.
