Job Description
Staff Plus is hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator for a full-time day-shift opportunity with our client in Mississauga, Ontario.
This is a hands-on metal fabrication role for someone with experience setting up and operating brake press and shear machines, reading engineering drawings, and inspecting finished metal parts. The successful candidate will be comfortable completing machine setups, making production adjustments, and using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
Pay rate: $22.80/ hour
Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate brake press and shear machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, tables, and job orders.
