Bookkeeper or junior accountant based in midrand

Qualifications Matric / Senior Certificate Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping (or equivalent) Requirements 1 - 3 Years' experience in a similar role will be an advantage Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, Quick Books, Xero or similar systems) Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations Ability to process journals and maintain accurate financial records Knowledge of VAT, PAYE and other statutory compliance requirements High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical skills Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office applications Good organizational and time management abilities Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial i...
