Bookkeeper / Management Accountant (Xero)

Hays Accountancy & Finance is supporting an Ipswich-based organisation who are seeking a Xero finance professional to rebuild their management reporting, audit the nominal ledger, reconcile balance sheet accounts, produce management and year-end accounts in an ongoing temporary assignment for 3–4 months.

Your new role An exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong Xero experience to support an organisation through a critical finance transformation and year-end period. Reporting directly to the Finance Lead, you will take ownership of financial reporting, ledger integrity, account management production, and system improvements, helping establish robust financial processes for the future.
The tasks will be varied and challenging, covering areas such as:

Conduct a full audit and review of the nominal ledger

Investigate and resolve ledger discrepancies

Reconcile all balance sheet accounts
