BO Chargeman / Electrical Engineer
Job Scope
Manages and maintains all electrical systems within the data centre to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical IT infrastructure. Operates and maintains high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) switchgear, transformers, diesel generators, UPS systems, power distribution units (PDUs), and backup power systems. Conducts electrical load monitoring and balancing across distribution networks. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance, routine testing, and emergency repairs on electrical equipment. Executes electrical isolation procedures and switching operations following safe work practices. Investigates electrical faults, analyzes power quality issues, and implements corrective measures. Maintains electrical safety standards and ensures compliance with local electrical regulations. Updates electrical drawings, maintenance records, and incident reports.
