Biodiversity Ranger: Kākāpō & Takahē Field Research

Department of Conservation (DOC) in Invercargill is seeking a research-focused role to support Kākāpō and Takahē recovery. The position involves collecting and managing scientific data, organizing field samples, and collaborating with external researchers to deliver research objectives for conservation programs.

Work will include planning, analysis, and report writing, with opportunities to contribute to numerous field trials and the expansion of new sites for these species in Aotearoa.
