Job Description
An insurance company that provides commercial insurance, surety bonds, warranty coverage, cyber liability, professional liability, and risk solutions for businesses across Canada and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Managing litigation and negotiating settlements
Drafting coverage opinions and letters (in both French and English)
Communicating with insureds, counsel, brokers and claimants (in both English and French)
Authorizing payments as required
Acting as a resource for various business units
Qualifications
Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario (lawyer or paralegal).
Approximately 5–7+ years of experience in private practice specializing in insurance law and/or experience in handling claims
Fluently bilingual in French and English
Property & Casualty experience is an asset
