Backup Waterguard

As Back-up Waterguard, you will ensure that the dam, intakes, desander/desilting basin, conveyance line, surge tank, and penstock are well maintained and operating efficiently and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Operations and Maintenance team, Resource Supervisor, and NOCC to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure uninterrupted water supply to the conveyance line and penstock intakes through the proper operation and maintenance of hydro facilities and civil structures
• Keep intakes or water sources free from silt or obstruction at all times and perform weir declogging to maintain smooth water inflow
• Monitor and maintain water levels to attain maximum water utilization in accordance with Water Resource Management standards
