Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby Shop, Beale AFB, CA. This role is for Regular Full-Time employment, offering benefits and ensuring a minimum of 35 hours of work weekly, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours per week. Frequent standing, bending, stooping, crawling, and working under vehicles and working in tight spaces. Frequently lifts, handles, and carries parts and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to perform and instruct patrons in minor motor vehicle repairs, and maintenance on a variety of motor vehicles and motorized equipment. Demonstrates to patrons, as requested or directed, repairs to automotive equipment that can be accomplished by cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing parts or components and systems, such as fouled spark plugs, leaky wheel cylinders, corroded mufflers, and worn brake shoes.
