Job Description
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems supporting continuous process operations across the QAFCO ammonia and urea fertilizer plant
- Perform configuration, programming, and modification of PLC logic (Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, or equivalent) and SCADA/HMI interfaces under approved Management of Change (MOC) procedures
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on field instrumentation, control panels, actuators, solenoid valves, and automation hardware; ensure minimal process disruption during interventions
- Support DCS (Honeywell Experion, ABB 800xA, or equivalent) maintenance activities including controller backups, loop checks, alarm rationalization, and functional safety testing
