ABOUT THE POSITION
Auditor Appraiser I: Under close supervision, to learn to perform appraisals of business personal property and fixtures for ad valorem tax assessment purposes and to audit and analyze for appraisal purposes the financial records of business firms; and to perform related work as required.
Auditor Appraiser II/III: Under general supervision, to appraise business personal property and fixtures for ad valorem tax assessment purposes; to audit and analyze for appraisal purposes the financial records of business firms; and to perform related work as required.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
Auditor Appraiser I: This is an entry-level classification in which incumbents are trained to perform field and office assignments in the audit and appraisal of business personal properties and fixtures.
