Clinical Skills and Training Department, Health New Zealand Waitematā. Permanent, full‑time role (Monday to Friday) based at Whenua Pupuke Clinical Skills Centre.
About the Role
As an AV Specialist Technician with Health New Zealand Waitematā, you will provide hands‑on technical support for AV systems across multiple district sites. Your work will directly enable high‑quality teaching, training, simulation, meetings, and hybrid events in clinical and education environments.
You will install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of AV technologies including projectors, LED displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, control systems (e.g. Crestron), and video‑conferencing platforms. You will act as the first responder for AV issues, provide live event support, perform preventive maintenance, manage equipment inventory, support procurement, complete firmware and system updates, and maintain clear docume...
