Logistics Specialist – AWS

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is rapidly expanding its Infrastructure Operations team and seeks a Logistics Specialist to ensure efficient inventory management and fulfillment of data center parts and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review data center inventory, inbound shipments, and ongoing demand to maintain optimal stock levels across all locations.
• Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to develop plans that optimize parts movement throughout their lifecycle, tracking location, movement, age, and turnover.
• Work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Engineers to fulfill parts requests quickly and accurately.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and directly interface with vendors for RMAs and replacement receipt.
• Maintain regular, ongoing communication with vendors to resolve issues and explain business requirements.
