Associate, Workplace Health and Safety

About the Opportunity

• Partner with the Director, Workplace Health and Safety to design and implement trauma‑informed, culturally safe safety programs grounded in data and best practices.
• Support the development of practical health and safety policies, procedures, and day‑to‑day processes.
• Coordinate joint health and safety committees across provinces and territories.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen and integrate health and safety practices across the organization.
• Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to employees and leaders on safe work practices, risk assessments, and travel safety.
• Contribute to training, onboarding, inspections, audits, and ongoing health and safety communications.
