Associate Research Scientist in the Division of Engineering

Description

The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for a fully funded Associate Research Scientist position in integrated photonics and optoelectronic device development. The successful candidate will contribute to research on silicon photonics and optoelectronic devices based, with applications in optical communications, sensing, and photonic computing. Experience in silicon photonics is required, while expertise in plasmonics, nanophotonics, and 2D materials is a plus. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and have access to state-of-the-art facilities for photonic device design, fabrication, and characterization.

Applicants should have a in science or engineering with at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
