Duties: 
Teaching English Home Language and First Additional Language in undergraduate and postgraduate modules.
Developing and evaluating teaching and learning materials for English language teaching.
Participating in the development and assessment of teaching and learning opportunities (practical teaching).
Conducting research and publishing in chosen areas of specialisation.
Supervising and co-supervising postgraduate students at honours, masters and doctoral level.
Identifying and applying for research funding.
Participating in Social Impact projects and rendering appropriate services to Stellenbosch University and the teaching community.
