Associate Professor — Mechanical Engineering: Solid State Welding & Research

Nelson Mandela University is looking for a leader in Mechanical Engineering to provide academic leadership at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role involves developing curriculum, engaging in scholarly research, and supervising postgraduate candidates. Candidates should possess a Doctoral degree and have extensive experience in the field, especially in solid state welding technologies.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate research productivity and contribute toward enhancing the academic capacity of the department. Preference will be given to qualified candidates aligned with the University’s equity targets.
