Associate Criminal Lawyer (3-5 Years)

Shaffie Law is a criminal defence firm led by former Assistant Crown Attorney Shayan Shaffie. We provide uncompromising representation to individuals charged with criminal and quasi‑criminal offences across Ontario, with a particular focus on high‑stakes intimate partner violence litigation that intersects with family and civil court proceedings.

The Role

The firm is expanding and requires an experienced, industrious mid‑level Associate to manage a curated caseload while laying the groundwork for future expansion. This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, with an average of two days per week in our St. Lawrence Market office and the balance remote.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing a criminal defence file load, client management, and, over time, supervising junior staff. For the right candidate, there is a serious prospect of future growth into a management or partnership‑level role.
