Associate (Board of Review & Legal Unit)

As an Associate (Board of Review & Legal Unit), Legal Directorate, you will provide secretarial, administrative and paralegal support to the Tax Boards of Review and the MOF Legal Directorate. The Tax Boards of Review are administrative tribunals which comprise the Income Tax Board of Review, the Goods and Services Tax Board of Review and the Valuation Review Board, constituted under the Income Tax Act, the Goods and Services Tax Act and the Property Tax Act respectively. The Tax Boards of Review adjudicate disputes between taxpayers and the respective Comptrollers/Chief Assessor in appeals filed before the Boards. The Legal Directorate’s mission is to advance MOF’s strategic objectives through sound legal advice and effective policy representations. We strive to be trusted partners in shaping key policy developments and legal policy in Finance.
