Description
The Assistant Storekeeper supports receiving, checking, labeling and moving materials across stores, paint shops and assembly while maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires working in shifts and ensuring a safe, well‑organized area by following 5S and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Keep the receiving area clean, safe and well‑organized at all times.
- Strictly adhere to and uphold 5S principles within the stores and receiving area.
- Receive incoming materials from the truck using a forklift.
- Unbox consignments and perform visual checks for quantity, quality, damage or mismatches.
- Label received materials accurately for traceability.
- Hand over receiving documents to the Storekeeper for system entries.
- Scan and file all receiving documents daily.
