Assistant Professor in Actuarial Science (Casual)

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic academic with experience of teaching Actuarial Science programme. The role holder will deliver high‑quality teaching and learning experiences for assigned courses during the appointed semester. The academic is expected to prepare teaching materials, conduct classes, assess student performance and fulfil academic responsibilities associated with the assigned courses.

Programmes will be delivered in English, so fluency in English is essential. An induction programme will be delivered to all new academic staff on Heriot‑Watt's standards and values and will provide practical experience on preparation, delivery and assessment of teaching.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
