Assistant Port Captain

We are looking for an Assistant Port Captain to support the marine and HSSE operations of a growing Singapore-based ship management company. This role is ideal for a seafarer transitioning ashore or someone early in their shore-based maritime career , particularly with sailing experience on LPG or gas carriers .

You will be part of a dedicated ship management team , working alongside Port Captains, HSSE personnel, and technical staff to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient vessel operations . The role involves frequent ship visits , active participation in inspections, audits, crew engagement , and HSSE initiatives .

The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of navigational and cargo operations , and a keen interest in developing their career in marine assurance, safety, and operational compliance within a shore-based setting.
