About the Role

Assistant Editors are research subject matter experts who handle manuscripts from screening through post‑acceptance processes, ensuring integrity and quality. Entry‑level with limited prior handling‑editor experience, they bring expertise as authors or reviewers.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and triage manuscripts within your subject area and make initial suitability decisions.
• Raise integrity concerns via appropriate channels.
• Select and invite reviewers, evaluate their reports, and make decisions to accept, reject, revise, or refer.
• Assess revised manuscripts for quality and completeness and determine final decisions or the need for further review.
