Assistant Director, Information Technology

Position Summary

Manage day-to-day operations of technology and network systems for the Martin Scorsese Center and the Department of Film & Television at Tisch School of the Arts, including Mac and Windows desktops, endpoints, servers, and learning spaces. Administer and support applications and databases. Develop and implement operational and creative policies and practices. Research, develop, propose, plan, coordinate, and facilitate learning opportunities in training information technology. Ensure computer standards, cybersecurity, and implementation and training are consistent with established industry and School curricular standards and related technologies. Research emerging technologies and make recommendations. Advise students, faculty, and staff on technology, and serve as resource expert recommending options to resolve complex problems.
