Assistant Cost Manager – Turner & Townsend

Role Overview

As an Assistant Cost Manager, you support the Commission Manager in project delivery and assist in cost management activities. Assistant Cost Managers are expected to assist on a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions.

Key Responsibilities Project Support & Coordination
  • Conduct background research, data collection and benchmarking.
  • Estimate and produce cost plans to support the cost management team.
  • Compile and amend the tender list, analyze tenders, and draft corresponding tender reports.
  • Assist the cost manager in compilation of procurement documentation.
  • Address variations and assist in managing the change control processes, negotiating less financially significant or complex matters.
  • Conduct cost checks and valuations.
  • Assist the cost management team in preparation of final accounts.
