Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor - General Surgery - Clinician Investigator

Position Overview

The Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (SHSC) is inviting applications for a full‑time member with significant expertise in minimally invasive / robotic colorectal oncologic surgery and a strong academic track record. The appointment will be based primarily at SHSC and is associated with 40% protected time for academic activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care for colorectal oncologic patients and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Mentor and supervise University of Toronto medical students, surgery residents, and clinical fellows.
• Engage in academic activity, including research, quality improvement, and teaching.
• Maintain professional licensure and board certification, and commit to advancing the strategic goals of the Division and Department.
