About the role
Play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with the Privacy Act and the Official Information Act at our Ellerslie site in Auckland. This is a full‑time permanent position. As an Assessor, you will respond to customer requests for the information we hold about them, assess customer files, and make informed decisions using a risk‑based approach to provide the right information. You will communicate effectively with customers, other OrangaTamariki teams, and external agencies, identify opportunities for improvement, and participate in continuous learning and development. You are detail‑oriented and have a strong understanding of privacy legislation.
Hybrid working arrangements – office based in Auckland with flexible WFH options.
Key Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Understanding of the Privacy and Official Information Acts
- Experience with risk assessing, dealing with issues, and identifying solutions
