Job Description
**Position:** Automated Assembly Machine Operator
**Pay Rate:** $22.00/hour
**Shift:** 1st Shift (Monday–Thursday, 4:30 AM–3:00 PM)
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Safely operate assigned high-speed, large-scale automated assembly machines.
+ Perform complex repairs, major adjustments, set-ups, and changeovers on assembly equipment.
+ Conduct quality checks according to the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP); document specified measurements at required intervals.
+ Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and routine maintenance on machines.
**Typical Duties:**
+ Adjust tooling, including sharpening/conditioning, and verifying height of spring-loaded pins.
+ Replace sensors, punches, dies, stock components, air cylinders, belts, etc.
+ Adjust housing feed in accordance with standards.
+ Use height indicators, ram optics, gauges, and perform microscopic visual inspections.
