ASME Authorized Inspector Supervisor

Responsibilities

Must be able to perform independent inspections to ASME code requirements and monitor colleagues’ work. Verify and provide solutions to ASME NB clients. Reporting to their respective project coordinators and/or project managers in execution of the task assigned. Must be able to train others and authorize competencies based on their experience and knowledge. Shall be able to mentor colleagues and other Engineers who ever require additional training. Must be able to prepare, review, approve and edit job‑related procedures, internal department procedures and checklists, both ASME and National Board procedures. Shall be able to lead a team of AIs and act as mentor for surveyors. If required, he/she participates in site project meetings, discusses fabrication and construction matters related to ASME with the client and/or contractors, vendors, suppliers.
