Job Description
- CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO MALAYSIA
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and maintenance of AS400 applications using RPG, RPGLE, and COBOL400
- Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews
- Manage and optimize DB2 databases on AS400
- Work with business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure application performance, security, and regulatory compliance
- Troubleshoot production issues and support system enhancements
- Maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- Strong experience in AS400 / IBM i
- Proficiency in COBOL, CL, and DB2/400
- Experience with batch processing and online programs
- Ability to troubleshoot and support production issues.
- Exposure to banking, insurance, or financial services systems
- Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
