The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is a statutory board under the Ministry of National Development (MND). As the national planning authority, URA is responsible for land use planning, formulation of urban design guidelines and policies of the Central Area where our city centre is located. Through thoughtful urban planning and urban design, we aim to create a global city and endearing home.

As an architect in the Urban Design, Central Area Departments, you will play a role in transforming Singapore’s physical environment. You can expect to be involved in drawing up district masterplans and urban design plans which map out the strategic directions in the transformation of the respective study areas.
