Architect, Customer Premise Network Engineering & Operations

Overview

We are looking for an Architect, Customer Premise Network Engineering & Operations to design and maintain the infrastructure that supports millions of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) across our Cogeco and Breezeline networks. The role focuses on securing, provisioning, and evolving CPE solutions, ensuring hardware and firmware meet performance, security, and reliability standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full RFI/RFP lifecycle for next-generation hardware.
• Deliver detailed feedback on hardware/software alignment.
• Suggest and draft technology solutions to meet emerging customer needs.
• Conduct deep‑dive model comparisons and engineering validations to guide the network evolution roadmap.
• Oversee CPE lab footprints, define upgrade paths, write BOM specifications, and manage lab budgets.
• Drive device certification and firmware life‑cycle adherence, resolving provisioning discrepancies.
